Jaselyn O’Sullivan

Jaselyn is a “ducks in a row” kind of operator – efficient, well organised and always vigilant to the finer details of any task at hand before “going public”!

Jase (as she is often referred – and why more often than not is thought of as male – or Jackie, Jackie O, Jazzy and many more) is a professional, competent and hard working public relations practitioner who joins the parkyoung contingency as head of media relations.

She brings with her over eight years of marketing and public relations experience and claims to be the “young” in the parkyoung mix!

Prior to parkyoung

Jaselyn successfully launched (and ran) the PR division of Sydney-based media planning agency bellamyhayden.

Highlights included:

• Generating over $1.8 million worth of media coverage in the first eight months of operation for founding client GlaxoSmithKline.
• Won a commendation for ‘Best Media Integrated Campaign’ (for GlaxoSmithKline ) at the prestigious Media Federation Awards.
• Orchestrated a social media campaign (“Opening the Fashion Vault”) for Oroton, which was picked up by Marie Claire and fashion media in Paris and New York.

A force reunited!

Before joining bellamyhayden, Jaselyn was a senior consultant for parkyoung’s own PR Warrior, Trevor Young, at his previous agency, Spark PR. She worked at Spark for three years, much of it as part of a team with Trevor. Campaigns managed included Coles, Foster’s, AFL Players’ Association, Skins, Boost Juice, Bendon and Optus.

Jaselyn kicked off her PR career in corporate communications with Victorian water authority (Western Water); additional experience was gained in a marketing role with the licensing and merchandising firm, Gaffney (working across popular brands such as Bob the Builder and Sesame Street).

In her spare time, Jaselyn competes in triathlons, studies for her Masters in Journalism and takes her Honda 250 motorbike out for spins in the country. Oh, and she also barracks for Geelong Football Club.
